Step One in my Spinning Journey
I got my Top whirl spindle and some roving from annie may on ebay!

I'm bringing it to Angelia's house in November and we're going to spin together! I may end up waiting to try it until then anyway. I'll have my first spinning class at The Fold by then, but that'll be on a wheel. Ang said there a spinning supply shop right by her house! We are going to have soooooooo much fun!!!
Thanks to Amber, I'm coveting this pattern. I DON'T NEED ANYTHING ELSE ON MY TO DO LIST!!! But I really want it!

Hee, hee. Glad to be of service! ;-)
That spindle is pretty. I don't know the first thing about spinning -- I can't even picture how you make yarn with those things. It looks cool though!
The purple roving is beeeeyoooutiful!

I bought my first spindle from the same lady (loved the leaf design), except mine was bottom whorl. I didn't have enough patience for the spindle though..plus I kept breaking the fiber and dropping the spindle... so I had to get a wheel.
Good luck and have fun spinning! Roving hoarding is just as fun as yarn hoarding! =)
